Level 2.0 – Slope preparation (advanced) – only for ski areas

Level 2.0 – Slope preparation (advanced) – only for ski areas

The "advanced snow grooming" training course has a modular structure: Training pre-season, mid-season and post season.
Each module can be booked individually. The modules are offered as theoretical and/or practical training.
However, we are convinced that the combination is most effective, because: Professional work is not possible without theoretical knowledge. The best way to keep in mind what you have learned is to try it out in practice.

Pre-season training
Already in early winter it is important to think about the mid-season and the spring. With a perfect basic construction of a ski slope, the need for snow can be reduced in high winter and the season can be extended in spring. In addition, correct handling of the vehicles can prevent a lot of ground damage to the turf and reduce maintenance costs on the vehicles!

The main topics covered in this training are:
  • Ecological and economical operation when building a ski slope
  • Efficient and machine-friendly distribution of technical snow
  • Machine- and soil-friendly steering and turning of the vehicle

Mid-season training
In the mid-season, perfect slopes are essential for every ski area. The PRO ACADEMY training helps your operators to use the vehicles efficiently and safely and to optimize their working methods when restoring eroded slope sections as well as snow reserves. Of course, fuel consumption, excessive idle times and excessive working time due to double preparation of certain slope areas are also very important to us during the training sessions!
  • The main topics covered in this training are:
  • Ecological and economical operation when preparing a ski slope
  • Efficient restoration of eroded slope sections
  • Use of the correct tiller settings depending on the prevailing conditions

Post season training
The preparation of perfect ski slopes with spring snow is very demanding for the operators and sometimes even involves a certain risk. We make sure that your operators can do their job efficiently and above all safely. In addition, perfectly groomed slopes minimize the risk of accidents for skiers the next day.

The main topics covered in this training are:
  • Working with snow grooming vehicles in and with spring snow
  • Avoidance of dangerous situations
  • Use of the correct tiller settings depending on the prevailing conditions

All training programs of the PRO ACADEMY take place in the own ski area and on the own vehicles.

The biggest advantage of this training is that your operators are already familiar with the existing vehicles, the slopes or the surroundings and can therefore fully concentrate on the training.

Because your operators are accompanied and trained during their daily work, you don´t have to worry about a loss of working time and your slopes are perfectly prepared for the next morning!

And the most important thing: All trainings in the ski resorts are carried out MANUFACTURER NEUTRAL!

In order to follow the progress of the participants, a detailed report of the training is created and handed out at the end of each training session. Participation in the training courses is certified for all participants at the end of the training program with a certificate of participation.
